I’m Cory Ransom, a freelance photographer and outdoor enthusiast based in Cape Elizabeth, ME.  For the past 15 years I have been traveling, shooting, and capturing the action around me through my camera. 

Starting off working with the NCAA in college at St. Lawrence University I was assigned to capture ski racing across the northeast.  From there my work began to expand to other activities that I enjoy doing such as surfing, sailing and anything in-between the ocean to mountains. My love for adventure and pushing the limits of both me and the camera is what have landed me to be working with a multitude of brands and publications.

For me photography has always been about showing a new perspective, one that makes people second guess how that angle was captured, magnifying the subject to a new level. Capturing people in their natural habitat and using the elements around me is where I feel the most at home.   

In the past few years, I have been working to diversify my portfolio to not only of been shooting with outdoor brands but also restaurants, fashion companies, interior designers, and travel groups.
